Breakfast – includes:

One hot item from the servery;

One cereal from a choice of five;
Toppings from a choice of two preserved fruits and yoghurt;

Toast from a variety of breads with toppings such as jam, marmalade;

A choice of tea, coffee or cordial.

Lunch – Includes a range of ‘fried’ foods, sandwiches, Specialty Breads, Rolls, Pies, Sausage Rolls, Savouries

as well as a ‘ Chefs’ Choice with Vegetables or Rice and Vegetarian Options. Also slices, scones, muffins, tea, coffee, hot water or other beverages from our Fridges on Display and Fresh Fruit.

Dinner – On offer each evening for extramural students will be:

Soup of the Day;

1 x Roast option;

1 x Asian option;

1 x Italian option;

1 x Vegetarian option;

2 x Vegetable options;

1 x Potato option;

1 x Side Salad option;

1 x Dessert option;

Tea, Coffee, Hot Water

or any drink choice from our fridges.

The configuration of meal is predominantly:

Soup of the Day, followed by 1 x Main Choice (Protein),

2 x Vegetables, 1 x Potato or Rice and finally 1 x Dessert.

Bar open Thursdays 4.30pm – 8pm tapas available. Very reasonable prices.

Wharerata is a delightful character restaurant and function venue, enclosed within the park-like setting of Massey University’s Turitea campus. Located five minutes from Palmerston North’s city centre, it’s picture-book homestead setting and turn-of-the-century gardens have made a stunning backdrop for generations of local gatherings.
