EXMSS assists all members with their travel to contact courses .
The EXMSS sponsored shuttle service provides subsidised travel to and from contact courses for students.
The key mechanism to provide this service is an arrangement with Supershuttle that provides Massey University Extramural Students with free transport from the Wellington and Palmerston North airports (1) to their respective campuses. In Auckland and Christchurch the travel is subsidized by $20. This service is available throughout the year and requires the student to present their voucher to the Supershuttle driver.
Students enrolled in papers that have a recognized contact course or block course are sent a travel voucher with their Off Campus magazine (2). This voucher should be presented to the Supershuttle driver at the airport. During designated contact course periods (3), in Palmerston North, on the Turitea campus, a free return trip to the airport can be arranged by visiting the EXMSS help desk in the student lounge. At all other times the return trip is the care of the student (4).

(1) Free transport from bus and train terminals in Palmerston North is available by booking through supershuttle on 0800-SHUTTLE (748885) or at http://www.supershuttle.co.nz.
(2) If there is no voucher in your Off Campus then a voucher can be requested by contacting the EXMSS office at 0508 439677 ext 81184 / 81182 or by emailing info@exmss.org.nz.
(3) Remaining designated contact course dates for 2010 are 7 – 18 April, 21June – 11 July and 21 August until 5 September.
(4) In cases of emergency, for travel back to the airport from the Turitea campus it is possible to pick up a taxi chit valued at $20 from the EXMSS office located on the campus concourse. EXMSS office – 0508 439677 x 81184 / 81182.
