Hi everyone,
Just wondering if someone could maybe help me with this? I remember reading a while back that massey has made a partnership with a bunch of Australian universities to allow Massey students to access those Uni’s libraries. Now I can’t find this info anywhere
It’s probably right in front of me on the Massey website somewhere but so far I am drawing a blank. Any help would be much appreciated

Hi,
this is my first time doing a paper from Massey and am loving it so far, bit nervous about the exam at the end though – is anyone doing 187.101 – Into to social & cultural studies in education?
Hi Jodie, I did that paper in 1989 so I suspect my knowledge of it is a little out of date. If you would like a class-list of others taking the paper in your area give Anne Moretti Anne@exmss.org.nz an email.

Hi Everyone.
Just a little confused about accommodation near/on Wellington Massey Campus. I am looking for accom for a contact course. I cant find anything on this website about it. Can someone please help?

Am doing Introduction to Literacy and Numeracy, am currently applying to teachers college, first time doing a paper from university , nervous and excited, any advice would be appreicated

Welcome! My advice is: don’t stress. We all start somewhere and the nerves do go. Try to keep on top of your assignments and you’ll be fine. The exams are not as scary as we convince ourselves they are. Good luck with teachers college

Thanks Louise, I’ll have a look on OWLL. I guess we could find plenty of things to be frustrated about – lol, but certainly if we were offered basic structure expectations it would be wonderful.
OWLL also has available a pdf copy of the academic writing guide – or if you contact your local EAR they can source you a printed copy.

We have secured Govt funds to update the survey and roll it out to internal students as well as extramurals. We also plan to review the comments that come back and present [...]

I have been working on this raven. The next iteration of Rate It (called Review It) is now embedded in Massey’s survey framework. We have secured Govt funds to update the survey and roll it out to internal students as well as extramurals. We also plan to review the comments that come back and present reports to Massey on a regular basis. Total time taken, 1.5 years; total time to go before Massey is really listening, 1 year. Useful to help decide whether to take a paper or not, BUT does any negative rating actually motivate any changes to the paper by the co-ordinator? I’ve just read about how last years students were frustrated at the lack of WebCT support for one paper I’m now doing, and it obviously hasn’t changed

Well I have posted the submission to the Voluntary Student Membership Bill on the president’s blog. I am rather looking forward to speaking to the submission. The process has been difficult but rewarding in the sense that I have learned a lot about how to write a submission and about what extramural students think.

Hi Grace, sorry about the late reply. The Library partnership that you read about is still in the process of being finalized, and I am told is primarily tied to Queensland universities. I will try to find out more and get back to you.
