Exemption from Membership of EXMSS
Under The Education Amendment Act 2000 Part 1, Substituted Section 229A (ref http://www.legislation.govt.nz) student union membership at Massey is compulsory. However there are grounds for exemption.
You can apply for exemption from membership to EXMSS under one of three possible criteria
1/ Conscientious objection
2/ Financial hardship
3/ Current member of another students’ association
